This neoclassic monument, loved by some and hated by many in Rome, is known as Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland). It is mistakenly believed to be build during fascist time, while actually it was inaugurated 11 years before Mussolini took the power. Loved or not, it can still offer amazing opportunity for photography.
