Bidding goodbye to 2012 was a great moment in UK as the country has been seen to celebrate extended weekend of Diamond Jubilee events, which were the series of mindboggling shows or programs, celebrated with extravagant and enthusiastic glee. From William Shakespeare to Charles Dickens – festivals were round the corner and covered all the heritages and past glories of the country to rejuvenate the spirit of joy and patriotism amongst the countrymen. Moreover, the country hosted Olympic and Paralymic events, which are considered as the greatest sport events of the human civilization. With a lot of colors and endless joy, 2012 ended up, giving a new hope to continue the sport of carnival even in the year of 2013.
Undoubtedly, the year of 2012 was one of the best recorded years for tourism in the country. Continuing the same spirit of festival and carnival, England also promises a blast in the year of 2013. So if you are keen to visit Europe, then UK should be your prime destination, where you will experience seamless fun and loads of surprises. The year 2013 promises a lot of things for the travelers and that is why it is important to make arrangements for your trip well in advance.

Revamped and Unleashed English Icons

The year 2013 is significant for the exploration of history and culture of the country of England. In the early part of the year, Mary Rose Museum has been anticipated to be opened in the city of Portsmouth. It has to be noted that this is a £56 million heritage project, which will bring back 19,000 old English artifacts in visibility. Along with the museum, the historic dockyard of Portsmouth will be rejuvenated and it will be used mostly for the tourism purposes. The dockyard is around 500 years of age and thus carries huge historical significances.
Apart from these, Stonehenge has also been under the plan of getting rejuvenated. By the month of October, 2013, this will be ready for the tourists and it has been anticipated that the building will be inaugurated by this year. So, a great chance for the tourists to visit a museum which will carry heritage and historic significances of the country of England.

200th Birth Anniversary for James Austin

Mr. Darcy, James Austin will become 200 years of age in the year of 2013 and to honor this famous novelist a museum will be tribute to his name. Moreover, his house will be a visiting place for his eternal fans and lovers.

Dinosaur Returns

2013 will be a significant year for world movies, so as for UK, as it is the 20th anniversary of the famous movie Jurassic Park. Dinosaur Island in UK would be a worthy place to visit.
