Freshly open tea house (Teteria) in Novelda, not far from Alicante, that is hosting events and dinners. We volunteered in Casa L'Art last year while we were travelling in Spain, and it's a nice place in a nice setting. And also the town of Novelda was a surprise for us! While hiking in Cinque Terre we spotted this sign, problably written by a desperate land owner, that couldn't stand the smell anymore. So now you know, if you need to pee while hiking in Cinque Terre, you better look for a toilet in the villages!

At the oceanographic in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, there aren't only fishes and sharks. There are open ponds with pink flamingos, that surprisingly are not flying away, maybe because that's the only (artificial) environment where they can survive in the area, and there is an aviary where it's possible to enter

Cinque Terre is an amazing place to go and we will soon write a separate article. The first one (Or the last one)of this five towns is Monterosso al Mare where the main landmark is this incredible statue of a Giant (Il Gigante) perfectly integrated in the underlying rock, where the sea is crashing with artistic waves.
