Becak drivers sleeping next to Kraton palace
In Yogyakarta, the cultural capital of Java, it's still really common to spot bicycle rickshaws, locally known ad Becak. The drivers are usually very poor, some of them don't even have shoes, and they pass most of their day on the Becak itself. Clients are scarce and competition is high, so it's not unusual to see them resting under the hot indonesian sun, while waiting for the next client.
