Sunset over the Danube in Silistra, BulgariaSunset over the Danube in Silistra, Bulgaria

And eventually after long time waiting at the pit stop, (almost 6 months actually) we managed to start back our engines and today we went abroad. It has been only for one day, and just 10 km far away on the other side of the Danube river, in Silistra, but it was enough to make as feel once again alive. It was (it still is) Oti's birthday today, so we decided to go and visit the Bulgarian twin city of Silistra, that we haven't seen for a long time. It's a small border city not known to the most, but a nice break for a day trip, with a magic forest, a fortress over a hill and a park over the Danube.

From Silistra we also keep nice memories, since the beginning of our love story partly happened here, so it had also a sentimental meaning to us.

In the meanwhile we are getting ready to leave for real, and it's going to happen in the next days or maximum week. Stay tuned for more details. We can't wait!
