It's now more than 3 weeks we are in Rome, and we were supposed to stay maximum 2-3 weeks before leaving again for travelling. But actually we never stopped travelling: it's a matter of approach. After months (actually almost 1 year) that you don't see a place, even the place where you grew up and you think you know every inch, when you come back is different. Maybe the place is the same, but you are changed, and your relation with the city, your friends, your family is changed. So now we are enjoying these weeks here, always full of new inputs, new experiences and people. We met old friends and we made new one; we visited touristic places, we got lost on the streets of Rome and even in my district; we are not getting bored and enjoying every moment. It's also time to fix all this little things that you can do only when you go back home: taxes, offices, red tape and... thinking of the next travels. That doesn't mean to make a plan, since we rarely have one. It' more about preparing your spirit...and your wallet. I'm trying to reduce, even more, my fix expenses to gain some more "free" weeks of trip. I was able to reduce by 100% (yes 100%!) the cost of my almost empty bank account (remember to choose one that is not dealing with arms please!!!) that was giving me only expenses and I never use it being on the road. And I'm selling all the little things that are not useful anymore and can give me some extra cash and days of autonomy. We also changed the hosting provider of our website, hoping to increase the loading speed: unfortunetely our very low budget doesn't allow us to buy a performant one. I also sold my laptop waiting to invest the earning in a new (but used) Nomad pc. So these weeks it's a little bit hard to update the website, in particular the pictures. But don't worry we will feed your curiosity very soon!
