If you are wanting a romantic weekend away with your other half, then look no further than Paris. France’s capital is known by many as the city of love and has plenty of tourist attractions and a great nightlife to keep you occupied whilst you are there. The most iconic monument in the city is the Eiffel Tower, renowned for showcasing the best views of Paris. Constructed in 1889 and standing at around 300m in height, the Tower allows tourist to go up gaze out over the city and get some great photos. It is also known as one of the most popular places for people to ask their partners to marry them, so it could well be worth checking out if you are looking to pop the question.
The Lourve is another must visit attraction, especially if you are a fan of arts and culture. The museum is one of the world’s largest and holds over 35,000 different exhibits, with approximately 9.7 million tourists going through its doors every year. It is also home to Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic Mona Lisa painting, which was created over 500 years ago. Other great attractions to visit are the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and a whole host of museums located around the city.
Paris also boasts a fantastic nightlife, with exceptional restaurants, bars and clubs to cater for everyone’s likes and needs.
