Even if the Motorola w230 is a little bit a dated phone, I was still using it until a couple of weeks ago. It was a cheap and very good phone except that it couldn't be syncronized, only the mass storage could connect with the pc. Now after a few years I left my Motorola W230 for a new mobile phone, and I faced the problem of making a backup of the contacts in the phonebook. Having 460 contacts It wasn't an option to move it one by one. If you have a sim card with a lot of contacts memory (i.e. 500) you can do it just with one step, going to phonebook, entering the option (central button) choosing copy, and then "all to sim". But that was not my case, since my sim was having only 130 contacts, and if you try this trick you get an error message. But I found another workaround, very hidden: you can do a multiple selection of contacts and transfer it in batch to the Sim card, in example 100 at a time. So in 20 minutes with 4 of these operations, I was done transferring all of my contacts from the phonebook of the motorola w230.
What you have to do is still to go in options and select copy. But then istead, you select "Entries", then you select again "Entries:..." and in the next menu you can do the multiple selection! Easy right! If I saved you some hours of work, consider making a small donation or at least liking our facebook page!
