How can we afford to travel non stop?

Discover

Only now I recognize that we didn't write any update, not even to declare our trip finished :) In fact after seeing the northern lights in Norway, we hitchhiked back to Romania in 3 weeks, just in time for Christmas celebrations. This means that our nomad travel from beginning to end lasted about 9 months. Not bad for Oti's first long time travel :)

Now it's time for relaxing (not too much actually), family meetings (YES!!! We eventually met also Matei, first and only Oti's nephew!) and thinking about the next step: we are still confused, but probably also this time will be circumstances to decide and not us. An opportunity will come.

A lot of changes also for the website, even if not visible. We reduced loading time of the page of more than 50% with a lot of effort and days of work, and gained a stable flux of 300% more visitors, with peaks of 900%. When I will be satisfied, It will finally be time to concentrate on the core of this project, the content. Hopefully soon.

I also found time to apply to the National Geographic competion, to win an assignement in Oman with one of their photographers! I don't think I had good material for their subject, a story in 5 photos. I had either good stories, or good photos, but couldn't find anything that would satisfy me 100%. Anyway, I tried, so this is my application!
